Call for nurdles for the artwork by Maarten Vanden Eynde
Artist Maarten Vanden Eynde is making a large chessboard full of nurdles and needs your help. Nurdles are mini balls in plastic from which bottles, jars, cups and all kinds of other plastic objects are made. Boats and trucks transport them from one factory to another. They often get lost along the way and end up in the sea, on the beach and on the street. Fish and corals get sick from it and we humans don't like to have nurdles on our plates.
Will you help search for nurdles on the beach so that Maarten can fill his chessboard? Bring them along during your next visit and donate them to Mu.ZEE!
