Summer Evening Opening ‘Joris Ghekiere. Travels on Paper’
At the exhibition ‘Joris Ghekiere. Travels on Papier‘ his son Abel Ghekiere and his band will perform a concert based on their album ‘Voor het verdwijnt en daarna’ (Before and after it disappears). The musicians will enter into dialogue with the works, which will serve as the primary source of inspiration for the concert. There will also be a film, with music by Pieter Vermeersch, about the erection of a monument to Joris Ghekiere by the sculptor William Phlips, in Alpujaras in the south of Spain.

The museum is open from 10am to 5.30pm.
In July and August, Mu.ZEE is open until 10pm every Thursday.
Closed on Mondays, and on December 25 & January 1.
