Yes, you can buy a ticket from a valid Belgian railway station to Ostend and back. To do this, you first reserve an admission ticket to the James Ensor exhibition via muzee.be. With the code found on the ticket, you can book your train ticket with a 50% reduction via this SNCB link.
The station is within walking distance of the museum (<1 km).
Mu.ZEE is within walking distance of the station. From the station you can take bus number 50 in the direction of Gistel (stop: Sint-Jozefkerk in Alfons Pieterslaan). A nice alternative is the coastal tram with a stop at Marie Joséplein or at Ostend Station.

It is possible to park free of charge at a car park on the outskirts. Free bicycles are available to get to the centre.

The museum is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, except for a raised platform in the exhibition Anna Boch. The accessibility of this platform will be addressed in the renovation works that are going to take place at the museum from 2024. There are ramps to the platform, but they are not suitable for every wheelchair. We apologise for the inconvenience. The other museum rooms are easily accessible via lifts or small ramps.

The library at Mu.ZEE only collects publications on modern and contemporary art. This makes it unique as an art library.
